Testing is available for anyone with respiratory symptoms, as well as those meeting the criteria as a close contact of a COVID-19 case (i.e. advised by the Public Health Unit, workplace or educational facility to get tested and isolate). Testing is free of charge.
We do not provide testing for people without symptoms who require testing for travel, pre surgery or at the request of their employer as part of a screening program.

This clinic is operated by UFS Medical and is open seven days a week, with appointments available between 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays and from 9am – 4pm on weekends.
Due to high demand, current pathology result wait times is over 7 days.
Essential workers* and patients with a letter from the Department of Health advising the need to be tested, can be prioritised for testing – if you fall into these categories, please call 03 4311 1571 to book an appointment rather than book online, and advise the staff member arranging your booking that you are an essential worker or that you have received a letter from the Department of Health.
The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and diagnose mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia.
*Essential workers: Healthcare workers – includes all those working in health care settings as well as medical staff, childcare workers, education / schools, aged care – includes all aged care staff as well as medical staff, disability care services, police, ambulance staff and fire fighters.
It is important to note that a household contact or household-like contact (i.e. person has spent more than four hours in a household-like setting such as an accommodation facility) is still required to isolate as per Public Health advice.
