A new UFS medical centre in Lucas is due to open on February 3 2025.
This new practice will play a vital role in enhancing access to high-quality healthcare services for the rapidly expanding population west of the centre of Ballarat.
UFS has worked with well-known local developer Integra to develop this purpose-built medical facility. The ground floor will offer a range of complementary allied health services to cater for different healthcare needs, and the first floor will house consulting rooms for GPs and other specialists.
This additional practice will bring the total number of UFS Medical centres to four, joining Doveton Street UFS Medical, Windermere Street UFS Medical and the recently opened purpose-built Sebastopol UFS Medical centre.
We are thrilled to have Sovereign Radiology and Uplift therapy joining us at the new centre in Lucas, and we are currently welcoming interest from other health professionals interested in joining us here. After-Hours Care
Ballarat’s Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) provides medical care when it’s urgent but not an emergency, and is open from 9am to 11pm every day of the year (including weekends and public holidays). The clinic is staffed by a team of GPs and nurses to provide urgent medical care for non life threatening injuries or illnesses. The Ballarat UCC is located at Level 1, 1010 Sturt Street, Ballarat.
