Doveton Street UFS Medical opened in September 2011 and was the amalgamation of three existing general practices in Ballarat.
The largest of the four UFS Medical centres, Doveton Street is home to general practitioners, physiotherapists, podiatrists, a dietitian, a diabetes educator, an exercise physiologist and an Australian Clinical Labs Pathology.

After-Hours Care
Ballarat’s Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) provides medical care when it’s urgent but not an emergency, and is open from 9am to 11pm every day of the year (including weekends and public holidays). The clinic is staffed by a team of GPs and nurses to provide urgent medical care for non life threatening injuries or illnesses. The Ballarat UCC is located at Level 1, 1010 Sturt Street, Ballarat.
