Dr Dawn Le is originally from Adelaide and enjoys the diversity of general practice and teaching medical students. She is married and has 3 children and 2 super cute dogs. She works part-time and barracks for the Adelaide Crows.
Dr Mark Churcher has over 20 years of general practice experience, and is interested in all areas of general practice. Dr Churcher is married with three active boys, and two active dogs. He spends his spare time contributing to hockey in Ballarat and walking his dogs in the nearby state forrests.
Dr Phil Dover graduated from Monash University in 1979. Dr Dover has experince in rural and critical care, and a keen interest in skin cancer surgery, general medicine, minor procedures and manipulative spinal treatment. Dr Dover works 8 sessions per week.
Dr Neil Livingston has had over 30 years experience in general practice. He qualified from Monash University in 1979 and worked overseas on two occasions (in the UK and Dubai). His areas of interest are family medicine, men's health, palliative care and adolescent health.
Dr Sharma has trained and worked as a GP in the United Kingdom for the past 12 years. She values and enjoys the wonderful relationships with patients which arise in General Practice, and has a gentle empathetic manner of consulting. She has gained a lot of experience in dealing with paediatric patients and those with chronic diseases. Her additional interests are in Diabetes, cardiovascular medicine and mental health. She has 2 sons who are at secondary school, and 2 cats who also made the move from UK to Ballarat! She tries to keep fit and would really like to explore all that Australia has to offer including walking, water sports and the wonderful coast.
Dr Tu Le graduated from Adelaide University and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, especially men's health. Dr Le has three children and two dogs and enjoys cycling, tennis and cooking. Dr Le works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at UFS Medical – Doveton Street.
Dr Colin Crook graduated from Monash University in 1978. He started his medical training at the Ballarat Base Hospital in 1979 and completed two enjoyable years there. He then completed two further years training in General Practice in Gippsland, Colac and Melbourne. Dr Crook was always keen to return to Ballarat and started in private general practice in Gillies Street, Wendouree in 1983 and worked there for twenty eight years. He is now very happy to work at UFS Medical - Doveton Street. Since 2001 Dr Crook has worked part-time as the GP Advisor to the Ballarat and District Division of General Practice. Dr Crook has four children and his interests include time with his family, cycling, snow skiing, kayaking on Lake Wendouree, visiting art galleries and most importantly, the Sydney Swans!
Dr Andrew Webster relocated from Scotland with his young family in May 2014. Dr Webster has a special interest in sports medicine, diabetes and occupational health and is available for consultations Monday to Friday at Doveton Street. Dr Webster is a mad supporter of Carlton and Liverpool.
Dr Bal has worked in many different clinical settings over the years. He enjoys family medicine with a special interest in sports medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, injury and trauma management, fracture care and medical relief programs. Dr Bal looks forward to providing medical care to the Ballarat community.
Adam graduated with an MBBS at Deakin University in 2012. He's interested in all aspects of general practice and enjoys working in rural and regional settings.
Emily graduated from Monash University in 2012. She then completed 3 years of training at the Ballarat Base Hospital in a variety of departments, in particular medical specialties such as oncology, palliative care and general medicine. Interest areas include travel medicine, general medicine and chronic disease management.
She has spent the past couple of years working all around Australia and has settled back in her home town of Ballarat. In her spare time she is kept busy taking her dog for lots of walks.
