Dr Rashid Hameed is a Specialist General Practitioner, with more than 10 years experience in General Practice. He has been trained and worked in different healthcare systems including National Health Services, United Kingdom and Australia.

Dr Rashid completed his General Practice training (The Australian General Practice Training Program) in Australia and obtained FRACGP from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and EMC (Emergency Medicine Certificate) from Australian College of Emergency Medicine.

He has a vast range of experience working in various specialities. He has worked in emergency medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, cardiology, mental health, general medicine and surgery at Mackay Base Hospital, Queensland.

Dr Rashid has special interests in paediatrics and family health, chronic diseases, orthopaedics and injuries, senior’s health and ageing related concerns

He has been actively involved in academia and has been teaching medical students and GP registrars. He has published various research articles.
